The First Tractor Ever Sold!
First Tractor Ever Sold by Clarence Stoller Restored
How it all began - One of Clarence Stoller's first job's was selling fuel out of a truck in the early 1930's. From there he started selling tractors out of his truck and made his first sale in 1934. He sold an Allis Chalmers W-C to the Bouleware family and traded in a team of horses. He sold 12 Allis tractors that first year. Clarence's brother Reuben kept track of that tractor and eventually got it back on a trade-in. His grandson Roger Stoller kept it in a shed until 2 years ago when Clark Stoller's son-in-law Mclane Steidinger bought it from him. Mclane went about getting the tractor restored. Sunday, February 5th the family presented it to Clark. Here are a few photos of the newly restored W-C.
